Appeal Claiming:
Greetings, I am [Username] with Florida State Roleplay’s [Rank] Team. Please follow the format below, but before that, please read the following information that we would like to share with you. We recommend using SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar) and re-reading your appeal message before submitting it. Without further ado, please follow this format below. Roblox Username: Rank: Infraction: (Forward the infraction rather than provide a screenshot) Appeal Message: Any AI usage will result in the appeal being automatically denied. Once you have sent your appeal message, please mention me so I can further evaluate your appeal. Regards, [Your Username] [Your Rank]Appeal Handling:
Emotional and one-sided thinking can also cause problems when deciding an appeal. Just as fairness and impartiality is important in the process, fairness to each staff member is equally important. You need to think openly and gather as much information and context based on the situation, prior to making your final decision.
Here is the evaluation process which you'll follow:
- Read the Appeal in its Entirety
In one sitting, read the appeal completely. Do not skip portions. You need to understand the context, rationale and tonal aspects of the staff member's appeal. - Obtain Relevant Logs or Evidence
You need to look through the infraction logs and anything else that is relevant to the punishment. Do not solely rely on your memory. - Check for a Pattern
Has this individual had similar infractions previously? Is there authenticity or commitment to betterment as indicated by the appeal? - Bring Other Staff if Necessary
If you are uncertain or the situation is complex, get another opinion from other members of the High Ranking Team who can also offer their insights through their own meaning and experience. - Always be Respectful and Professional
Even if you end up denying the appeal, which you must be allowed to do, it must be conclusive to show respect. Never accuse or be aggressive. Although you may deny an appeal, you must also leave the staff member with useful feedback. - Final Decision Template
Below is a response template to use depending on your decision:
✅ Appeal Approved Format:
Hello [Username], After a long review and thorough consideration of your appeal, we have come to the conclusion to accept your appeal. We appreciate your honesty, maturity, and ability to follow the guidelines outlined in your appeal. We have revoked your punishment, however, we do hope you will continue to abide by our guidelines closely. Regards, [Your Username] [Your Rank]❌ Appeal Denied Format:
Hello [Username], Thank you for submitting an appeal. After reviewing your message and given the numerous aspects surrounding this situation, we have come to the conclusion to deny your appeal. However, you can appeal again after 2 weeks if any circumstance develops or new information occurs. Regards, [Your Username] [Your Rank]One note about appeal logging and record keeping:
✦ You must log all handled appeals. After a decision is reached, log it in the Staff Appeals Tracker and let a High Ranking Team member know if necessary. This allows everyone to see transparency and when an individual has repeat issues or a subsequent appeal. - Read the Appeal in its Entirety
- Things to Keep & Reminders
- Always use formal, clear language.
- If you are on the fence about an action, do not rush to finish the appeal. You are better off asking than making a mistake.
- You are representative of the team and group — remain calm, neutral, and respectful.

Handling Multiple Offenses
If a staff member commits multiple offenses at the same time, the punishment should not be applied individually for each infraction. Instead:
- Start with the most serious offense.
- Apply the listed punishment, then escalate it by one tier harsher (e.g., Strike → 24hr Suspension, 24hr Suspension → 48hr Suspension).
- If the offenses are extremely severe or repeated, demotion or termination may be considered immediately.
- Example: A staff member caught Trolling (normally a Strike) and GTA Driving (off duty) (normally 24hr Suspension) at the same time would instead receive a 48 Hour Suspension.
